김애리의 현악5중주 Distorted Eden 분석 = (An) analysis of Eri Kim's distorted Eden for string quintet

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 김애리의 현악5중주 Distorted Eden에 관한 분석 연구이다. 이 작품은 필자가 연세대학교 음악 대학원 재학 시에 작곡, 초연된 곡이며, 2000년 11월 30일 석사 졸업연주로 연세대학교 음악대학 윤주용홀에서 연주되었다.
이 곡은 6 section으로 구분되어지는 단악장의 곡으로 20세기에 나타난 새로운 여러 어법들을 사용한 창작곡으로 음계, 박자와 리듬, 주법 등의 면에서 조성 음악 바탕 위에 변화를 시도한 작품이다. 여기서 조성음악 바탕 위에 변화를 시도한 작품이란 의미는 전체 곡의 전개방식(주제의 전개)이 전통양식을 따르면서 현대적인 어법을 사용하였음을 말한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to conduct an analytical study of Distorted Eden, a string quintet (1999). This work was composed while she was in Music Department of Graduate School, Yonsei University. It was premiered and played again on November 30, 2001 for a master's degree at Yoonjuyong Hall, College of Music, Yonsei University.
This music is single movement consisting of 6 sections and a creative composition adopting the phraseology newly that appeared on 20th century. It tries to express the change on the basis of the tonal music in the respects of gamut, rhythm and a way of musical performance. This tonal music represents that the music employs the modern phraseology together with the traditional form in terms of the progress of the whole song itself or the progress of its subject.
