      Much prior researches of unit did error analysis in algebra scope but emphasized more in process that look for type of error that students commit and clear cause of error now 'Character and expression' and it is occupying most that part that study way since is efficient through error analysis handles lightly.
      This thesis composed an activity-centered plan that can offer enough composure to investigated errors that students commit often in 'Character and expression' unit through literature research and draw representative type and investigated factor of error through student's perception property and problem of current course of study.
      Common errors in mathematics occur by internal factor. but errors that most students often commit tend to occupy because of external factor such as explanation instruction way that overemphasizes deductive composition system or algorithm of a text book.
      Alternative proposals the tide over these problems are as following. First, teacher need guidance-quality that derive theoretical knowledges properly in various situations more than role that pass only established fact systematically. Second, by analyzing causes of common errors that students commit, various guidance skill and wide research about problem context that can keep method must follow.
      Work that cultivate ability that solve problems related to everyday life using character and symbol mathematically is essential to achieve ultimate purpose of mathematics education that develops ability to solve problem with mathematical appreciative insight.
      Therefore, teachers who coach students in spot must take more interests in understanding a student analyzing cause of error and making suitable plan.
