한국무용의 공연문화산업화 방안연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 한국무용의 국내무용시장에서의 문제점 뿐 만 아니라 국제화 추세에 발 맞춰 세계의 무용시장과 교류하기 시작하면서 나타나는 한국무용계의 과제와 앞으로의 방향성에 대해 문헌연구를 목적으로 한 간접자료를 중심으로 일부의 사례를 활용하여 크게 3가지 방법으로 연구를 진행하였다. 이는 상대적으로 열악한 환경 속에서 활동하는 한국의 무용가들의 처우에 많은 관심을 기울이며 그에 맞춘 활동의 기회를 많이 제공하여 국제화속에서의 불균형이 어느 정도 균형을 되찾을 수 있을 것이라는 점에서 연구를 시작하게 되었다.
연구의 결과에 따르면, 무용도 상업성과 더불어 발전하지 않는다면 언제나 도태 될 수밖에 없으며 학교무용으로서의 가치 밖에는 할 수 없고 그렇게 된다면 한국의 무용 역사는 학교의 무용 교육 과정 밖에는 될 수 없다는 것이다. 이런 한국의 무용 현실을 타파하기 위하여 좀 더 적극적이고 충격적인 마케팅 전략이 필요하며 무용 공연 역시 공연상품이라는 의식을 하지 않으면 안 되며 무용의 발전은 기존의 순수무용의 예술로서의 가치만을 중시하고 있는 경향을 탈피하려는 충격적인 의식 개혁에 의해서만이 가능하리라 보여 진다. 무용은 분명 예술이며 순수하지만 이것은 우리 무용인에게 있어서만 그러한 것이 아니라 모든 대중에게 보여줌으로서 인정받아야 하는 과제인 것이다.
본 연구는 총론적인 접근을 통하여 무용의 발전을 위하여서라도 상업성과 대중성, 예술성을 모두 갖추는 길 만이 우리 무용의 발전에 필요한 것이며 이를 위해서 잠시는 상업성과 대중성에 예술성을 맞추어 가 야 하며 상업성, 즉 현대 자본주의 사회에서의 재력이 없는 공연은 죽은 공연이며 독창회가 될 수 밖 에는 없음을 한국무용계가 잊지 말아야 할 것 이라는 점을 알 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study was to examine the problems of Korean dance in the domestic dance market, the task of domestic dance circles which came to the fore with its interaction with global dance market in the period of internationalization, and its direction in the future. For this, the investigator analyzed literature and some examples, focusing on indirect materials. Study was carried out with three methods in general. The investigator started this study in order to pay attention to the working conditions of domestic dancers who were carrying out their activities in a relatively inferior environment and provide them with a lot of opportunities of performance, thus recovering the unbalanced situation of Korean dance in the period of internationalization.
Study findings are as follows:
The domestic dance must be developed from the aspect of commerciality; otherwise it will be combed out and only plays the role of school dance. In that case, the historical Korean dance will be reduced to a school course. In order to do away with the reality of domestic dance, a more positive and shocking strategy of marketing is necessary. And the performance of dance must be regarded as performing merchandise. The development of dance is seemingly achieved with the shocking reformation of consciousness which focuses on getting out of the tendency of attaching weight to the artistic value of the existing fine dance. The dance is undoubtedly a field of art and pure, but it must be recognized by the public beyond the circle of dance.
The investigator approached the domestic dance from the general aspect in this study. The development of dance can be achieved by its being equipped with commerciality, popularity and artistry. For this, the artistry of dance must give way to commerciality and popularity for the time being. It is because the performance which is not accompanied by financial power is a dead one and a recital in the capitalist society. The domestic dance circles must not forget these facts.
