A lot of information system have been introduced and run in many industrial companies. The case of implementing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) from the manufacturing line is dramatically expanded, especially in the implementation of the corporate IT system.
This study is based on the research of the examples on the structure of operation and management in company of electronic products. The MES system is quite efficient to improve on the quantity and quality of products in the manufacturing line and have the competitiveness of an enterprise
MES system is essential in order that the enterprise could correspond actively and promptly to the changing circumstance of management and to unlimited competing era.
However, there are several factors that can be turning out a failure and/or, the great efforts and difficulties could be followed to implementing the MES system
Therefore, the sufficient review and preparation are required in advance in order to implement the MES system successfully.
In fact, the enterprise, which is implemented the MES system, was experienced many difficulties, but there are not still many results of research and references for this case that might be helpful to other enterprises who newly wish to implement this system.
In conclusion, to minimize try and error in the implementing and running MES, they should reflect the operating concept, running method, and the operator's opinion from the beginning of the investigation for implementing MES. Moreover, they should use the MES actively through the education of the users and managers, and also they should make the system better with the constant upgrades.
