When startups grow quickly, they often don't have everything they need. With so much investment pouring into small startups at a rapid pace, most of them can't afford to prepare for other aspects of management.
Company‘A' was in a similar situation. Over 12 billion won was invested in less than 5 years, and the workforce has more than doubled in the past 3 years. In particular, the number of employees has more than tripled from 2021. Under these circumstances, the company has grown without properly establishing a wage system.
This study was conducted as a project to solve the difficulties of startups in Daegu, Korea. The most important factor in many companies, not just startups, is human resources. From this perspective, we looked at the problems that startups might face, and conducted a project to solve the most important part of recruiting and retaining personnel: wage problem.
Company‘A' , a fast-growing startup in Daegu, is also struggling with wage problems. Focusing on reorganizing the Company‘A' wage system, we established a roadmap and strategy for advancing the wage system. In order to proceed with the project, the internal and external environment was analyzed and problems related to the wage system were identified. Based on this, the contents related to the composition of wage items in the wage system were reorganized to suit the reality of the company. In addition, it was promoted as a process of presenting specific action plans and cases suitable for the established roadmap and strategy and the derived tasks.
