초등과학 생물학습에서 창의적 문제해결력과 탐구능력 향상을 위한 자연나눔학습(sharing nature learning)의 효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구에서는 자연나눔 학습프로그램의 적용을 통하여 학생들의 과학탐구능력, 과학적 태도, 학업성취도 및 창의적 문제 해결 능력의 신장에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 자연나눔 학습프로그램을 적용한 실험반의 과학탐구능력의 변화를 분석한 결과, 과학탐구능력과 그 구성요소에서 실험반이 비교반보다 더 향상되었으며 통계적으로 유의미하였다.
둘째, 과학적 태도의 변화의 분석에서도 실험반 학생들의 과학적 태도 점수가 향상되었으며 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 특히 그 구성요소 중 호기심, 협동성, 창의성에서 더 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다.
셋째, 자연나눔 학습프로그램을 적용한 실험반 학생의 학업성취도 평가에서도 비교반보다 더 향상되었으며, 통계적으로 유의미하였다.
넷째, 창의적 문제 해결 능력 검사 결과 모든 구성 요소에서 실험반이 비교반보다 더 향상되었으며, 통계적으로 유의미하였다.
따라서 이 연구에서 투여된 자연나눔 학습프로그램은 학생들로 하여금 친근한 자연을 과학적인 놀이로 즐기며, 능동적이고, 창의적으로 문제를 해결하게 하므로 초등학생들에게 학습 내용에 흥미와 관심을 갖게 하고, 창의적 문제 해결 능력과 과학의 지식 및 과학탐구능력의 신장에 긍정적인 효과가 있다 할 수 있으며, 이후 초등과학교육에서 보다 적극적인 활용이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of creative problem solving, science academic achievement, inquiry ability, scientific attitude of students using the Creative Nature Game Learning Program. Sharing Nature used a playful and inspirational teaching strategy named Flow learning that is based on universal principles of how people learn. It provides a simple, natural framework that sequences creative nature games. Through playful games that awaken the students' curiosity and enthusiasm, learning becomes fun, immediate, and dynamic, instead of static and secondhand. To examine the effect of the Creative Nature Game Learning Program this learning tool was applied to elementary science curriculum, and an experimental group and a control group were selected from 4th graders at elementary school A located in Icheon city, Gyeong-gi province. The results of this study showed statistically significant effects on creative problem solving, science academic achievement, inquiry ability, scientific attitude of students than typical instruction. Thus the Creative Nature Game Learning Program was useful to develop the elementary school student's creative problem solving, science academic achievement, inquiry ability, scientific attitude and needs to be widely applied to science education.
