일본현대시 속의 식민지 조선 묘사

국문 초록 (Abstract)

「일본 현대시 속의 일제 강점기 조선묘사」는 1945년 이후, 일본현대시 속에서 조선을 묘사한 일본시인들의 시를 연구대상으로 하여, 그들의 작품에서 보여지는 조선에 관한 인식을 고찰하는 것이 주요목적이다. 니시나 오사무는 관동대지진 때 조선인학살에 대해 분노를 엮었고, 쓰보이 시게지는 살해당한 조선인의 혼을 분노를 품고 일본제국주의를 고발했다. 모리자키 가즈에의 「풀밭위의 무도」에서는 아름다운 조선의 풍습을 노래했고 일본에 강제연행된 조선인의 귀향의 소원을 슬프게 묘사했다. 나카무라 미노루는 「이조백자」와 「고려청자」의 훌륭함을 노래해 일본은 청자를 약탈했지만 조선민족의 긍지와 자존심, 겸양의 미덕은 뺏을 수 없었다고 지적한다. 하세가와 류세이는 안중근의 이토 히로부미 암살을 다루어 의거로서 찬탄하고 있다. 쿠리하라 사다코는 원폭이 떨어진 날, 시점을 조선인에게 두고 차별을 토로하는 시를 써 일본정부를 비난했다. 쓰지이 다카시는 불굴의 민족정신을 찬탄하는 시를 쓰는 등, 제각기 과거 일본지배자에 대한 격렬한 반발과 저항을 리얼하게 묘사하기도 하고 소극적으로 쓰기도 하면서 이민족이라는 경계를 넘어, 한민족과 함께 슬퍼하고 분노하며 호소해 왔다고 논했다. 이 논문에서는 조선을 제재로 한 시가를 대상으로 하고 있으므로 문학적 세계에 있어서의 공통점과 詩的方向牲은 상위하다는 점을 전제로 해 두었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그들의 작품에는 조선민족의 풍속과 자연 및 문화유산에 대한 칭찬과 동경, 또 일본제국주의에게 박해를 받고 있었던 민족의 비참함을 고발하기도 하고 격렬하게 항의하는 詩를 써서 분노를 토로했다는 공통점을 찾아낼 수 있다.
본론에서 인용한 시인들의 시의 공통점으로는 한마디로 휴머니즘에 기인한 정서의 표출이라고 지적할 수 있는데, 여기서 고려해야 할 것은 당시의 일본 시인들이 이상적으로 투철해서 이러한 묘사를 할 수 있었는지, 제각기 작가에 대한 위치가 다를 수 있을 것이며, 그저 이국에 대한 동경으로 실체를 보지 않고 문화유산과 자연에 대한 찬탄만으로 끝날 수도 있다는 점 역시 간과해서는 안되는 부분이라고 지적했다.

This study explores the poetry that the Japanese poets depicted the image of Korea in modern Japanese poetry during the Japanese Colonization of Korea
The first purpose of this study aims to excerpt and introduce all poems that the Japanese poets during modern Japan depicted Korea. In turn, this study shows how Korea that the Japanese poets expressed was captured and depicted through what kind of medium, how the thought of the Japanese poets about Korea was formed and made sense and warped.
10 poems of 9 poets including Nshina Osamu are provided and put into analysis in the detailed fashion through the poetry.
The characteristics of each work are examined through collecting and analyzing the poetry, essay, papers and articles about Korea and then, grounds of writers' thoughts about Korea are shown, as well.
The emotional similarity between Korea and Japan in Japanese poems are compared and examined.
Some common points that poets complimented and yearned for the Korean customs, environment, and cultural heritages, exposed Korean misery suffering persecution under Japanese Imperialism to people, gave vent to their anger by writing the strong protest poetry are found in their poems.
