주자(朱子) 미발론(未發論)에 나타난 교육적 체험 연구 : 메타프락시스적 접근

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 주희의 미발론에 함의된 교육적 체험의 성격을 분석하여, 그것이 지니는 교육학적 의미를 드러내는 것을 목적으로 한다. 주희의 미발론은 그의 수양론의 핵심을 이루며, 특히 우리의 전통적 교육관이 지니는 의미를 온전히 해명하는 데에 필수적 요소가 된다. 미발에 관한 종래의 견해들은 이 개념을 심리학적, 형이상학적 개념으로 해석하였지만, 이 연구에는 이발을 메타프락시스적 관점에서 해석하고자 한다. 이 관점에서 볼 때, 미발은 공부라는 실천적 맥락에서 드러나는 본체의 역동적 양상으로 규정될 수 있다. 주희의 미발론은 공부와 교육은, 인간 마음의 심층부를 겨냥하는 일이라는 점, 그리고 일상의 삶과 공부는 분리 불가능하게 연결되어 있다는 점을 명확하게 드러내고 있으며, 이 점에서 교육이론의 논의를 보다 풍성하게 해준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to reveal the theoretical significance of Chu-Hsi's theory of mind, esp., the concept of the 'not-yet-manifestation'(Wei-Fa, 未發), which is the core concept of mind-cultivation. His theory had became the traditional thought of our country, To explicate this significance is to understand our traditional thought of Education.
So far, the concept of the 'not-yet-manifestation' is interpreted from the point of psychology or metaphysics. but in this study, it is interpreted from the metapraxis, or the metapractical point of view. Originally the term of 'metapractice' introduced by some researchers of Buddhism as peculiar concept to explain the nature of philosophy of Buddhism. In this viewpoint, ''not-yet-manifestation' is concept to reveal the dynamic mode of transcendental reality in the context of mind-cultivation. Mind-cultivation aims at the innermost of human mind not the overt behaviors, and Daily life is the continual process of mind-cultivation.
