니체: 예술적 보편성과 철학적 독자성

국문 초록 (Abstract)

니체의 철학적 관심은 개념적 인식에 기반을 둔 철학을 위한 철학이 아니라 삶을 위한 철학이었으며 인간의 더 나은 삶과 행복이 어떻게 가능한가에 대한 철학적 탐구라 할 수 있다. 이러한 니체의 철학에서 예술은 니체의 철학적 관심과 탐구를 위한 새로운 패러다임으로서 작용하고 있으며 삶에의 의지와 다름 없는 것으로 이해된다. 즉 니체는 예술을 통해 전통철학과는 다른 철학적 내용들을 다루어 나간다. 그런데 니체의 예술철학은 단지 철학적 범위에만 국한되어 이해될 수 있는 철학 고유의 내용이 아니라 철학이 아닌 예술에 관한 일반적 논의들과도 소통할 수 있는 내용들을 가지고 있다. 특히 예술과 관련된 논의에서 가장 핵심적인 개념이라 할 수 있는 창조성은 그것을 잘 나타내주고 있다. 우선 니체의 예술철학에서 창조성을 설명하기 위해서는 근대적 이성에 대한 비판, 자연에 대한 새로운 해석, 생리학적 또는 생물학적 관심, 힘에의 의지 등에 대한 논구들이 있어야 한다. 그리고 니체 철학에서 필요한 이러한 내용들은 예술에 관한 일반적 논의에서도 정신분석학, 진화미학, 예술인류학 등을 통해 확인해 볼 수 있다. 정신분석학은 예술과 예술의 원천을 합리적 이해를 넘어선 불명확한 무의식의 심층세계로부터 설명하고 그로부터 의식적 직관을 통해 승화의 단계에 이르게 되는 것으로 설명한다. 진화미학은 인간이 역사적 존재이고, 그 과정에 예술이 함께 하며, 또한 인간의 삶이 진화, 진보해 왔음을 기본 입장으로 갖고 있다. 예술인류학은 선사시대 이해 인간이 갖고 있는 열정과 욕구에 근거해 인간의 예술적 활동을 설명하고 더 나아가서는 이것을 사피엔스 사고력과의 연관 속에서 설명한다. 이러한 검토들을 통해서 우리는 니체의 예술철학이 예술에 관한 일반적 논의와 공통된 맥락을 가지고 있으면서 철학적 독자성을 갖고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Nietzsche's philosophical concern is not a philosophy for philosophy based on notional recognition but a philosophy for life. Hence his philosophical study is relative to a inquiry to which he deal with a problem of more good life and a happiness to a human being. A art is both a new paradigm for this philosophical concern and the will to life. On the other hand Nietzsche's philosophy of art consists of contents which has a philosophical meaning and a general meaning about the art together. Especially, a creativity which is a most important notion in discussion related to the art implies this meaning of the art. A account for the creativity in Nietzsche's philosophy of art needs a criticism about modern reason, a new interpretation of nature, and a physiological or biological point of view. But these contents which is necessary to Nietzsche's philosophy can find also in a usual argument about the art which takes a theoretical contents in psychoanalysis, evolutional aesthetics, artistic anthropology etc. Thus we can grasp that Nietzsche's philosophy of art has a common vein with popular argument in the art and simultaneously a philosophical originality.
