러시아 정교와 시민사회의 발전: 장애인가 은총인가?

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 "현대 러시아 정교회의 사회적 역할"을 정교회의 사회와의 소통 강화와 사회활동 증대라는 측면에서 조명하였다. 러시아 정교회가 러시아 사회에서 절대적인 신뢰를 얻고 있는 중요한 사회구성요소라는 점에서 정교회의 사회적 역할에 대한 고찰은 러시아 사회에 대한 이해를 도울 것이다. 연구 결과는 정교회의 사회와의 소통노력이 과거 광범위하고 모호한 ‘선언적 수준’에서 ‘구체화된 지침 수준’으로 바뀌어가고 있으며, 소통의 과정 또한 혁신적인 변화를 보이고 있다는 점에서 정교회의 사회적 역할에 대해 지난 10년 보다는 앞으로 10년에 더 기대할 수 있을 것으로 본다. 최근 2년 동안 정교회를 둘러싼 변화(특히 법적인 측면에서)는 정교회의 사회적 역할 증대라는 측면에서 정교회에 유리하게 작용할 개연성이 아주 크다는 점이다. 그리고 정교회 변화의 속도와 모습은 어떤 형식으로든 러시아 시민사회 형성과 발전에도 일정한 영향을 끼칠 것으로 생각된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is intended to investigate "the social role of contemporary Russian Orthodox Church" in views of enhancement of communication between the Orthodox church and society, and growth of social activities of Orthodox church. The Russian Orthodox Church enjoys the confidence of absolute trust in Russian society. Because of that, to study of the social role of the Orthodox church, in point of that the Russian Orthodox Church is the important social components in Russian society, makes understand Russian society. Consequently, Orthodox Church’s effort to communicate with society is changing from the broad and vague ‘declarative level’ of the past to ‘concrete guidance level.’ Also in point of process of communication seems to be of innovative change, we can expect the social role of the Orthodox Church for the next 10 years. Through changes in the last 2 years over Orthodox churches (especially in legal terms), we can expect that the Orthodox Church increases the social role. And the change of Orthodox Church in any form could affect the development of Russian civil society formation.
