한국 체육학에서의 현상학 연구와 방법적 적합성

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국 체육학에서의 현상학적 연구의 방법적 적합성을 살피고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 체육철학, 스포츠심리학, 스포츠사회학, 스포츠교육학 분야에서 현상학적 연구, 질적 연구, 체험연구를 방법으로 표명한 논문들을 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음의 결론에 도달할 수 있었다. 첫째, 스포츠심리학, 스포츠사회학, 스포츠교육학 분야의 관련 연구들은 사실적 현상학적 체험연구의 범주에 포함시킬 수 있다. 둘째, 스포츠심리학 등의 스포츠 경험과학에서의 연구는 스포츠 세계에 존재하는 것으로 파악된 체험을 해명함에 있어 현상학적 연구의 핵심인 지향성 개념을 충실히 구현하지 못하고 있다. 즉 주체의 지향적 생활 세계 구성의 요소 및 관계, 그리고 의미화를 밀도 있게, 생생하게 드러내는데 성공적이지 못한 연구가 지배적이다. 셋째, 체육철학에서의 연구는 본질적 현상학적 체험연구보다는 스포츠 경험과학에서의 연구와 같은 사실적 현상학적 체험연구가 지배적이다. 따라서 체육철학에서의 현상학적 연구는 메타과학 혹은 본질학을 자임하는 철학 일반의 본령과 거리가 있다는 지적을 유발할 수 있다. 이상의 문제 경향은 현상학에서의 지향성 개념에 대한 철저한 이해와 그것을 드러내는 방법적 충실함의 결여에서 기인하는 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to analyze the methodological relevance of phenomenological research in kinesiology, Korea. The articles in the field of sport philosophy, sport psychology, sport sociology, sport pedagogy which are use phenomenological research, qualitative research, experiential research as methods. As a result, following problematic issues are appear in most of that researches. Firstly, we can categorize their researches into realistic phenomenological experiential research. Secondly, they are not successful to reveal the "intentionality", as the core of phenomenological research in the sport experience. Thirdly, the realistic phenomenological research predominate in the field of sport philosophy. The problematic issues as above come from that phenomenological researches of Korean are very poor for the understanding and application of intentionality of phenomenology.
