In this study, we analytically calculated the source wavelet and it was verified by physical modeling. This helps identifying reflection events in GPR data. The principle and techniques of data processing were roughly reviewed. We evaluate the validity of several velocity analysis methods with various physical models. The resolution and penetrating depth depending on the main frequency of antenna was obtained through concrete model experiments. For models, we used box, step, slope shape in order to study the applicability of GPR in measurement of tunnel lining thickness and detection of voids. We experiment complex model which has void, rock bolts, steel ribs, wire mesh and water proofs and analyzed several real data which have similar complex structure.
