본 연구는 플라톤의 저작인 《국가》와 《법률》에 대한 두 가지 견해를 중심으로 혼합정체의 성격과 구조를 드러냄에 있어서 제도적 측면의 혼합과 내용적 측면의 혼합을 구별하여 양자의 상관관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 따라서 플라톤의 원전을 중심으로 분석 및 비교하였다.
