시·도 교육청 교육과정 편성·운영 지침에 나타난 교육과정 지역화 양상에 관한 연구 = An Exploratory Study on the Pattern of curriculum Localization shown in the MPOE Curriculum Arrangement and Implementation Guidelines

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 국내 교육과정 지역화 양상을 파악하기 위하여 2015 개정 교육과정에 근거한 17개 시·도 교육청 편성·운영 지침을 분석하였다. 17개 시·도 교육청 지침 문서에서 교육과정 지역화를 시도한 요소를 총 5개의 지역화 범주로 도출하였다. 시·도 교육청 교육과정 편성·운영 지침에서 드러나는 지역화 양상을 분석한 결과, 첫째, 각 시·도별로 교육과정 지역화를 시도한 영역과 항목이 상이했다. 둘째, 지역화의 수준 및 구체성에서 차이가 드러났다. 이러한 차이는 특히 각론의 교수학습 및 평가, 성취기준 관련 요소에서 두드러졌다. 셋째, 지역화 시도는 특정 교과에 한정되지 않으며 총론, 교과 각론, 창의적 체험활동, 범교과학습주제에 이르기까지 전반적으로 발견되고 있다는 점이다. 넷째, 지역화가 총론에서부터 각론까지 일관성 있게 드러나는 지역과 일관성이 낮은 지역으로 분류되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 지역 교육과정 개발 및 연구를 위한 시사점을 도출하였다.

To understand the localization of the regional curriculum, this study analyzed the 17 MPOE (MetropolitanㆍProvince Office of Education) Curriculum Arrangement and Implementation Guidelines according to the 2015 revised curriculum. The elements that attempted to localize the curriculum were classified into a total of five categories in the aforementioned Guidelines. first, the areas that attempted to localize the curriculum were different for each office of education. Second, differences were revealed in the level and specificity of localization. This difference was particularly noticeable in the factors related to teaching and learning methods, evaluation, and achievement standards. Third, the discussion on localization is not limited to a specific subject, and is applied overall to general guidelines, the subject curriculum, creative-experience activities, and cross-curricular subjects. Fourth, localization was classified into attempts that were consistently revealed throughout the curriculum document and those with low consistency. Implications for the development of local curriculum were derived based on these results.
