로이드 존스의 전도설교 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 20세기 강해설교자로 알려진 로이드 존스의 전도 설교를 살펴봄으로써 마이너스 성장을 거듭하는 한국교회에 주는 시 사점을 찾기 위한 것이다. 로이드 존스는 40년 이상의 목회가운데 매 주 주일 저녁예배에는 전도설교를 시행하였다. 그의 전도설교는 많은 회심자를 얻었고, 복음의 은혜 아래 교회는 부흥하였다. 따라서 평신 도 중심의 전도행사에 초점을 둔 한국교회는 전도전략을 수정하여 설 교자의 전도설교에 초점을 두어야 한다. 그리고 설교자는 올바른 청중 분석과 평가를 통해 교인들의 회심에 초점을 맞추어야 한다. 더 나아 가 설교자는 청중의 눈치를 볼 것이 아니라 성경의 진리를 전하는데 담대해야 한다. 특히 죄에 대한 하나님의 진노와 심판을 선포하는데 주저하지 말아야 한다. 마지막으로 설교자는 불신자의 회심을 얻기 위 한 전도설교에서 설교문 작성에 있어서 보다 신중하고 지혜롭게 행동 해야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is that by looking into evangelistic sermons by Lloyd-Jones known as an expository preacher of the 20th century we want to get some implications for Korean church which is declining in church growth. Lloyd-Jones exercised evangelistic sermons every Sunday evening services throughout more than his 40 years ministry. His evangelistic sermons resulted in many conversions, and the church revived under the grace of the Gospel. Therefore the Korean church which focused on evangelistic campaign by church members needs to modify evangelistic strategy into preacher’s evangelistic sermons. The preacher should aim at conversion of his hearers through right assesment and analysis of the hearers. Moreover, the preacher is to be bold to preach biblical truths rather than taking into account of the hearers’ responses. In particular, he needs not to be hesitate to proclaim God’s wrath and judgment on sins. Lastly, the preacher needs to be more careful and wise in writing evangelistic sermons for the conversion of the unbeliver.
