구시가지 주거지역의 어린이공원 활용 방안 = Use of Children`s Parks in Residential Areas in Old Towns - Focused on a Case of the Daejeon Daehwa Children’s Park -

The purpose of this study is to improve the residential environment by applying Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) technique and universal design technique to villages with weak environmental conditions and to change into a cultural space through public design that can become pride of villagers with the participation of residents. It is necessary to create a safe and convenient park through environment improvement design and to create space that can be used by various generations as well as children by paying attention to the need of residents. Accordingly, this study proposes ways to improve urban regeneration in residential areas through analyzing cases of Daejeon Daehwa children"s park improvement projects.
