조선 후기 경아전(京衙前) 서리(書吏) 가계 사례 연구：신득린(申得麟)(1734～?) 가계 = A Study on the GyeongAJeon(京衙前) Seoli(書吏) Lineages in the Late Choson(朝鮮) Dynasty -A Case Study of Sin Dug-Lin(申得麟, 1734～?) Lineage

This paper studied on the Sin Dug-Lin(申得麟, 1734~?)`s lineage by analyzing their thirty-page JunHoGu(準戶口). The results of the study are followings: the status of Sin Dug-Lin`s lineage before entering GyeongAJeon(京衙前) Seoli(書吏) was JangAgWon(掌樂院) JeonAg(典樂) during the late 18th century; Sin Dug-Lin was JangAgWon(掌樂院) JeonAg(典樂) and his descents was GyeongAJeon(京衙前) Seoli(書吏); This lineage started to hand down Seoli posts(書吏職) from generation to generation in the late 18th century or the early 19th centry. From that time on, the family married with other Seoli family members. They didn`t compiled records of their family lineage such as JogBo(族譜) during the Choson(朝鮮) dynasty. Although there was a few those whom proceeded the official post in this family, their status can`t mobile upward to YangBan(兩班). From the above facts, following explanations on the GyeongAJeon Seoli society can be possible: first, the periods of keeping Seoli posts(書吏職) from generation to generation in the GyeongAJeon Seoli society was different from each families. Seconds, GyeongAJeon Seoli was distinctive themselves from technical post of JungIn(技術職 中人) and their social status was a little bit lower than technical post of JungIn. Thirds, the marriage of the GyeongAJeon Seoli was made only among themselves. Forth, there were similar social ranks such as GyeongAJeon(京衙前) Seoli(書吏), the JangAgWon(掌樂院), JeonAg(典樂), and the SiJeon(市廛) merchants during the YungJo(英祖)-JeongJo(正祖) peorids. And finally, in the Choson(朝鮮) society both ability and MyungBun(名分) were high esteemed by two confucian ideas in the reality.
