과거를 어떻게 (대)할 것인가 발터 벤야민의 회억 개념 = How to Handle the Past: The Concept of “Eingedenken” by Walter Venfamin

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

How to handle the injustice of the past is the crucial question that underlies the thinking of Walter Benjamin. Benjamin`s philosophy of history based on the insight that we have been expected on earth from the deceased to fulfill their claim to deliverance. In this sense, Benjamin`s thinking differs from theories that merely deal with the present. This way of dealing with the past prohibits the usual behavior of the historian, who allows the past to become a tool for the ruling class. The concept Eingedenken is the core of Walter Benjamin`s pragmatic philosophy. It does not refer to the past as a mere object of nostalgic memory. Instead, the past enters into the present and makes an ever-renewing constellation. This paper attempts to outline the concept of Eingedenken and clarify the meaning of Benjaminian dealing with the past.
