성, 연령 및 정서지능에 따른 유아의 갈등해결전략에 관한 연구 = Young Children`s Strategies of Conflict Resolution According to Gender, Age, and Emotional Intelligence.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 성, 연령 및 정서지능에 따라 유아의 갈등해결전략이 어떠한 지를 알아 보는 것이다. 연구는 C시 소재 유치원에 재원 중인 3,4,5세 유아 579명을 대상으로 하고 있으며 정서지능검사와 갈등해결전략검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 연구자료는 t검증, F검증, Pearson 적률상관계수와 중다회귀분석을 통해 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 성에 따른 유아의 갈등해결전략의 차이를 알아본 결과, 협력, 절충, 양보에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 연령에 따른 갈등해결전략을 알아본 결과 회피, 절충, 협력, 지배에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 정서지능과 갈등해결전략과의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관관계를 알아본 결과, 유아의 정서지능과 협력, 절충, 양보는 정적 상관관계가 나타나고, 지배전략과는 부적상관관계가 나타났다. 넷째, 연령과 정서지능이 유아의 갈등해결전략을 결정하는데 유의미한 영향을 미치는 예측변인으로 밝혀졌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study investigated how strategies of conflict resolution vary across children of different age, gender, and emotional intelligence level. ``The Emotional Intelligence Assessment`` and ``Strategies of Conflict Resolution Assessment`` was utilized to examine 579 children of age three to five who were attending early childhood education setting in C-city. Collected data were then processed and analyzed through t test, F test, and Pearson Correlation and Multi-Regression Analysis. The study`s major findings were as follows: (1) Significant differences existed across gender in integrating, compromising, and obliging strategies of conflict resolution; (2) Significant differences existed across ages in integrating, compromising, and obliging strategies of conflict resolution; (3) Positive correlations existed between integrating, compromising, and obliging strategies and emotional intelligence, whereas a negative correlation exists between dominating strategies and emotional intelligence; and (4) Age and emotional intelligence were variables that effectively predicts a child`s strategies of conflict resolution.
