東西大學의 人性敎育 改善을 위한 硏究 = A Study on the Personality Development Course at Dongseo University

Dongseo University is practicing 'personality development course'as a compulsory for 1st year students since 1996.
The aim of this study is to find out what is the most desirable way of personality development education by grasping and analysing porblems through investigation.
After surveying the progress of the personality development course in Donseo University, the following Categories were investigated through questionaries; the thinking of camput life and the future of the students, the experience of the personality development course, and their hope for the personality development classes.
In conclusion, to make students attend at compulsory personality development classes volumtarily and happily, the contends of education should be useful themes for present and future life of the students and it should be experimental rather than theoretical in the first place. Secondly, the method of education should be edification rather than domestication. Thirdly, the method of education should be edification rather than domestication. Thirdly, parents and professors and social leaders should cooperate with each other to make good environment of education for the students.
