『꿈 Book돋움』 프로그램을 통한 학교도서관에서 꿈 다지기 = How to Build up Dream in School Library through 『Dream Book Dotum』 Program

국문 초록 (Abstract)

요즘 청소년들의 꿈은 매우 다양하고 쉽게 변하는 반면 `교실 속 진로 수업`은 이러한 다양한 요구를 충족시키기에는 한계가 있다. 왜냐하면 대부분의 `교실 속 진로교육`은 `포트폴리오 완성하기`나 `동영상 시청 후 소감 쓰기` 같은 수업으로 이루어지고 있기 때문이다. 각기 다른 꿈을 가지고 있는 학생들이 꿈을 찾고 자신의 진로를 개척하도록 지원해야 한다. 학교도서관은 학생들에게 꿈을 꾸게 하고 행복을 잡게 하는 진로 정보센터의 역할을 충분히 할 수 있는 곳이다. 이 연구는 한 중학교에서 `학교도서관의 다양한 진로 정보원`을 활용하여 스물두 명의 청소년들이 꿈꾸는 방법을 배워가는 사례가 담겨 있다. 효과 분석은 진로 성숙도 검사와 프로그램에 대한 소감 분석을 활용하였다. 연구 결과 체계적인 학교도서관 정보 기반 진로 탐색 프로그램이 학생들의 진로성숙도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 학교도서관을 활용한 진로교육의 효과성에 대한 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

These days, although adolescents` dreams are so diverse and changing frequently, career education in the classroom is not enough to satisfy them and very limited. That`s because nine or eight out of ten classes for career education monotonously consist of filling out their portfolios or writing their comments after watching video-clips. I strongly believe that we, teacher librarians, should change these situations. That is, we ought to encourage students to find their dreams and support them to realize their future by themselves. In this sense, the school library can be the very center for searching career information, dreaming the future, and, at last, getting fulfillment. This study includes how 22 adolescents build up their dreams by using various career resources in a middle school library. The career maturity test and many interviews for student`s thoughts about this program were used to analyze the results. Consequently, this study will show an alternative on career education by utilizing the school libraries.
