계단축조에 관한 소고|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인도에는 간단한 표시와 결계에 의해 계단이 설치되었다. 지금처럼 고정설비를 갖추지는 않았다. 하지만 중국에서는 달랐다. 중국에서는 탑형식의 특정 모형물이 축조되었던 것이다. 그런데 도선에 의해 성립되었다고 하는 계단은 그 규모가 인도와는 다른 형태였다. 현장의 역경사업에도 참여하고 있었던 도선이 인도풍의 계단에 대해 전혀 모르고 있었다고는 생각되지 않는다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 도선은 인도풍에 따르지 않고 중국풍의 새로운 계단을 이루어 낸 것이다. 중국불교에 맞는 계율을 평생 모색해왔던 도선은 계단축조에 있어서도 그 나름대로의 독자성을 발휘하였다고 생각된다. 이러한 도선의 계단축조는 이후 한반도와 일본열도에도 전해져 현재에 이르기까지 출가수계에 사용되고 있다. 특히 통도사의 금강계단은 도선의 영감계단보다 빨리 성립되었을 가능성이 높은 것으로 판명되었다. 그렇다고 도선의 영향이 없었던 것은 아니지만, 적어도 도선이 최후에 완성했다고 하는 영감계단보다는 이르다고 말할 수 있다. 본 소고에서는 주로 계단의 설정방법과 그 형태에 대해 살펴보았다. 그러나 실제 현존하는 계단 위에서 수계가 얼마나 이루어졌는지는 의문이다. 대개는 상징적인 축조물로서 남겨두고, 실제 수계는 그 앞이나 법당 등에서 이루어진 것이 아닌가 생각된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The ordination platform was established by the simple sign and limited area in India. This wasn't in accordance with fixed equipment like now. However it was different in China. There was the specific model of tower style there. Though the ordination platform established by Tao-hsǔan was differentiate from the platform's size of India. It doesn't seems that Tao-hsǔan who participated in the adverse business on the spot didn't know about India style's ordination platform. Although Tao-hsǔan didn't follow the India style and completed new ordination platform of chinese style. Tao-hsǔan tried to find Buddhist percepts which suited for Chinese Buddhism for entire life and he might display originality itself about ordination platform construction The ordination platform construction of Tao-hsǔan is handed down at the Korean Peninsula and Japan' chain of islands and used in the disciple of Buddha of Buddhist priesthood. Especially it is highly expected that Tongdosa Diamond Ordination platform had established earlier than Ling-gan ordination platform of Tao-hsǔan. Even if it is affected by Tao-hsǔan, it is completed earlier that Ling-gan ordination platform that Tao-hsǔan finished the last. In this piecemeal consideration, I mainly inspected the establishment process of ordination platform. However I wonder how many ordinations got accomplished on the existed ordination platform. Nearly this remained to be symbolic structure and real ordination might realize in front of it or the sanctuary etc.
