      Through the experiments for relaxing fixation of English word order, the fixed respects have been reviewed and the primary factors have been observed. As a consequence of these tests, significant points have been determined through the study of syntactical differences between the learners` first language and English. First, this paper uses the phase-based approach as a fundamental technique from the viewpoint of biolinguistics(Berwick & Chomsky 2008). Namely, if the human language faculty can be considered to be one of the organs that can be activated, adult EFL learners under the constraint of UG can be with expectations of acquiring English just as English native learners do as similarly through resetting phases. Therefore the issue of relaxing fixation of English word order is discussed by suggesting resetting phases for adult EFL learners.
