3D 프린팅을 활용한 펑크 패턴의 갓 디자인 제안 = A Study on the Punk Pattern Gad Design Using 3D Printing

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Background In this study, we tried to understand traditional Korean Gat, which has become an international issue due to the popularity of the Korean Wave, the Netflix drama "Kingdom," and seek to modernize the gat design that reflects the trend from the perspective of design. In particular, the company sought to apply PLA filaments to utilize customizable 3D printing and eco-friendly design during the manufacturing phase.
Methods Research methods conduct theoretical research and work production research together. Through theoretical research, we understand about the Gat, and seek research methods for the production of the work. And the production process for producing 3D printed freshly made works using eco-friendly PLA filament materials was carried out with concept planning, design, modeling, 3D printing output, and completion of works.
Result The results of this study first confirmed the possibility of using 3D printing to explore the modern design of traditional Korean Gat due to the influence of the Korean Wave. Second, the 3D printed Gat design using eco-friendly materials was found to be capable of applying modern and eco-friendly designs for the globalization of traditional Korean gat. Third, 3D printed gat using PLA eco-friendly material filament was derived as a result.
Conclusion As a way to globalize Korean culture, differentiated designs that reflect trends that are prevalent by utilizing Korean Wave-based Gat can satisfy consumers' pursuit of individuality, while new designs that apply eco-friendly PLA filament materials suitable for consumers' eco-friendly consciousness can be a product based on the overall social status of pursuing sustainable development and consumer needs. And in line with the change in the industrial environment of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the new design using 3D printing can suggest custom design, which can show the characteristics of product diversity.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구배경 본 연구에서는 넷플릭스 드라마 ‘킹덤’이라는 한류의 열풍에 따라 국제적으로 이슈가 된 전통 갓에 대해서 이해하고, 디자인의 관점에서 트렌드를 반영한 갓 디자인의 모던화를 모색하고자 하였다. 특히 제작 단계에서 맞춤디자인이 가능한 3D 프린팅 활용과 친환경 디자인을 위해 PLA 필라멘트 적용 방안을 모색하였다.
연구방법 연구방법은 이론적 연구와 작품 제작 연구를 함께 진행한다. 이론적 연구를 통해 갓에 대해서 이해하고, 작품 제작을 위한 연구 방법을 모색한다. 그리고 친환경 PLA 필라멘트 소재를 활용한 3D 프린팅 갓 작품 제작을 위한 제작 프로세스는 작품 컨셉 기획, 디자인, 모델링, 3D 프린팅 출력, 작품 완성으로 진행하였다.
연구결과 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 한류의 영향으로 한국 전통 갓의 현대적 디자인 모색을 위해 3D 프린팅 활용 갓 디자인은 가능성이 확인되었다. 둘째, 친환경 소재를 활용한 3D 프린팅 갓 디자인은 한국 전통 갓의 세계화를 위한 현대화 디자인과 친환경 디자인의 적용이 가능성한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 결과로서 PLA 친환경 소재 필라멘트를 활용한 3D 프린팅 갓을 3작품 도출하였다.
결론 한국 문화의 글로벌화를 위한 방안으로 한류 소재갓을 활용하여 유행하는 트렌드를 반영한 차별적인 디자인은 소비자의 개성 추구를 만족 시킬 수 있으며, 소비자의 친환경 의식에 적합한 친환경 PLA 필라멘트 소재를 적용한 갓 디자인은 지속가능한 발전을 추구하는 사회전반적인 현황과 소비자의 니즈에 따른 제품이 될 수 있다. 그리고 4차 산업 혁명이라는 산업 환경의 변화에 따라 3D 프린팅 활용한 갓 디자인은 맞춤디자인을 제안할 수 있어 제품의 다양성의 특성을 나타낼 수 있다.
