중학생의 행동억제체계, 지각된 부모양육행동, 불안의 관계 = The relationship among Behavioral inhibition system, Perceived parenting behavior and Anxiety of Middle school students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the causal relationship among behavioral inhibition system, perceived parenting behavior and anxiety of middle school students. For this research, 508 participants who are middle school students in Gyeonggi-do were asked to fill out a questionnaire which consisted of Korean BIS/BAS scale, Revised Child Manifest Anxiety Scale (RCMAS), and Parental Boding Instrument(PBI). Using the SPSS 16.0 package, the data were analyzed with t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and sobel test.
The results of the study are as follows:1. There was a significant gender difference on behavioral inhibition system of middle school students. The group of females got significantly higher score on behavioral inhibition system than the group of males.
2. In both males and females, behavioral inhibition system was positively related to anxiety. All the sub-variables of perceived parenting behavior was related to anxiety.
3. With regard to mediating effects, behavioral inhibition system had both direct effect and indirect effects on anxiety. These indirect paths are mediated by mother's autonomy respect, father's autonomy respect and father's care of the perceived parenting behavior.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 불안의 발생과 관련해서 기질적인 측면인 행동억제체계(BIS)와 환경적인 측면인 지각된 부모양육행동 간의 관계를 알아보기 위해, 중학생을 대상으로 행동억제체계(BIS)와 불안과의 관계에서 지각된 부모양육행동이 매개효과를 나타내는지 살펴보았다. 경기도에 위치한 중학생 1,2,3학년 508명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었으며, 분석방법은 t검증과 상관분석, Baron&Kenny(1986)가 제안한 매개효과 검증절차를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 행동억제체계(BIS)는 부모양육의 하위요인 중 어머니 자율성 존중, 아버지 돌봄, 아버지 자율성 존중을 매개로 하여 유의미하게 불안에 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 불안의 발생에 영향을 미치는 행동억제체계(BIS)와 지각된 부모양육행동을 통해 불안의 기질적 측면과 환경적 측면을 함께 살펴보았다는데 의의가 있으며, 어머니의 양육행동과 불안의 관련성을 위주로 살펴보았던 기존 연구들과는 다르게 아버지의 양육행동의 영향에 대해서도 논의하고 제한점을 기술하였다는데 의의가 있다.
