This research aimed to obtain knowledge of sex and attitude toward sex, by random sampling 906 boys and girls students in middle and high schools in Kim-Cheon city, during the period from July 1 to November 30, 1983.
The results were as follows;
1. The most source of sex information and counselor of sex problems was friend, and then magazine.
2. In purity before marriage the difference between girls and boys was significant. Girls was higher percentage than boys answered "must keep". (p<0.05)
3. In knowledge of pregnancy, the difference between girls and boys was significant. Girls more than boys knew in possible time of pregnancy but boys more than girls knew in cause of pregnancy. (p<0.05)
4. In attitude of first menstruation and ejaculation, the difference between girls and boys was significant.(p<0.05)
5. In experience of heters sexual companionship, the difference between girls and boys was nonsignificant.(p<0.05)
6. The most of boys answered, adequate teacher in sex education was teacher of biology, and then school health nurse, and girls answered that teacher of home economics, and then school health nurse.
