판소리동화의 판소리 변용 연구 = The Achievement and Meaning of Pansori Fairy Tales

국문 초록 (Abstract)

Lee Cheong-jun(이청준) recreated Pansori(판소리) into a fairy tale. The object is Heungbu-ga(흥부가), Sugung-ga(수궁가), Simcheong-ga(심청가), Chunhyang-ga(춘향가), Onggojip-taryeong(옹고집타령). His Pansori fairy tales have some distance from Pansori. In Pansori fairy tales, sub-characters receive little attention, but main characters get excessive attention. And the shapes of main characters are modified from the main character of Pansori. The theme of the works is converted more then. The theme of Pansori fairy tales stand out the essential issues of human life more then reflect the spirit of the age. The style of Pansori fairy tales did away with the elegant archaic words and the colloquial vulgarism. In esthetic side, a sublime and an elegant style is overwhelming; a tragic beauty and a comic emotion appeared very slightly. Also, a kind of playing and a type of sinmyeongpuli(신명풀이) is weakened. However, an open ending shows esthetic homogeneity.
