The fine at 1025㎝^(-1) appearing in SERS spectra of pyridine, the role of the adatom in SERS phenomena, the chemical Raman enhancing effect in SERS of coadsorbed molecules were investigatde. From electrode potential dependences of SERS lines from pyridine, Ag-Cl, continuum background, the adatomic effect could be confirmed. And it could be discovered that the 1025㎝^(-1) line is originated from rather ordered surface chlorine on Ag electrode. The existence of the chemical effect of SERS from coadsorbed pyridine and surface carbon was also studied.
