This study attempts to provide some basic research materials for the improvement of effective methods in teaching writing, as well as for the better awareness regarding the importance of wr-iting education among teachers. This study confirms theoritical bases centered on those of Vygotsky and Bnuer who stress on the relationships between language and thought, and their relations to learning. It also shows the relationships between speaking ability and writing, the influence of peer to teaming, in an attempt to demonstrate the importance of oral language for writing process.
Writing equation is the basis of all educational activities, providing the opportunity to express em-otion and creative thinking. Much studies revealed that oral language is prerequisite to writing. For instance, Bereiter and Scardamalia pointed out the significant role of oral conversation among the peers for good writing.
Loban indicated the intimate relationships existing among listening, speaking, reading and writing, of which speaking is the basis for reading and writing, in the ground that one cannot so much speak correctly what one cannot listen well as one cannot write what one cannot speak.
By Using scaffolding- conference approach, teachers are required to guide children in writing process whenever necessary, providing an open atmosphere which enables children scaffold each other in an cooperative loaming situation. For an effective guidance for writing process teachers should open up many chances for children to experiences and express those experiences freely in writing.
