Now in our society, competition in entering college between highschool students is being overheated with the increase of priority, stimulation and stress. Anxiety generally means a reaction for self-preservation or repressed consciousness, and it affects the exactness of movement, expression, and absorbation rate by acting as a major mediating variable in performing dance.
Among various psychology burdens influencing players' best athelete function in the aspect of sports psychology, competition anxiety is a variable most systematically treated relating to competition scenes, and this study examines if there is a difference in competition anxiety according to grades and majors by grasping dance major highschool students' competition anxiety who have complex psychological burdens ahead of college entrance and participation in society applying precedent studies, and here are the results of the study.
1. There is no meaningful difference between Perceptive anxiety and physical according to grades and majors, but there is a meaningful difference in self-confidence.
2. The third graders closely related to entrance exame have the highest anxiety degree and the first and the second graders in order have different anxiety degrees.
3. Modern dance majors who have relatively short experience have higher anxiety degree than other majors, and Korean dance and ballet majors have similar aspects.
In result, dance majors in high school have different anxiety according to environmental factors such as entrance exam and adjustment to school, and dance experience. Though there is no statistically meaningful difference in this paper, but I put some meaning on the difference of the mean in each grade and major.
