To investigate the substitute effect of powdered feed of grape seed, 48 meat- eating ducks which were 30-day-old were bred .
Upon investigation of the increase in weight it was found t o be as follows :
1. Compared with a control group bred by only standard assorted feed, the experimented group of adding the powdered feed of grape seed by lo%, 20%, 30%, 40%, to the experimented group was similar t o t h e control group or heavier a little than the control group in the increase in weight of experimented group.
And the increase in weight of the experimented group of adding the powdered feed of grape seed by 50% was lighter than the control group.
2. If wasted grape seed is used f o r breeding meat-eating ducks, adding grape seed to the compound feed by t o 50% is admitted in the efficiency of feed .
