대학교육에 대한 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 활용 촉진 방안 연구|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 4년제 대학에서 교육과정의 현장적합성을 제고하는 수단으로 국가직무능력표준(NCS: National Comepency Standard)의 활용을 촉진하는 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 문헌조사와 함께 국가직무능력표준 개발 사업을 담당하고 있는 정책담당자 및 관계기관의 전문가, 대학 교수 등을 대상으로 면담조사를 실시하여 대학의 국가직무능력표준의 활용을 가로 막고 있는 제약요인을 먼저 파악한 후에 그 극복 방안을 제시하였다. 연구결과 대학에서의 NCS기반 교육과정의 개발과 활용을 촉진하기 위해서는 NCS기반 교육과정이 기존 교육과정이나 인증시스템을 대체하는 것이 아니라 보완한다는 관점에서 접근할 것을 제안한다. 또한 NCS가 도입될 시 기존 교육과정의 변화로 인한 심리적, 재정적 부담을 완화하기 위해서는 NCS의 개발과 대학에서의 적용에 이르는 일련의 과정에 산업체의 적극적인 참여가 필수적이라는 점이다. 아울러 NCS활용확산을 위해 NCS기반 교육과정의 개발과 시범적용을 통해 효과성을 널리 알리고, 정부의 각종 대학재정지원사업과 연계하는 등 대학이 위험과 부담을 감수하고 NCS의 활용을 시도할 수 있도록 정부가 적극적인 유인책을 마련할 것을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study is to promote the use of the NCS(National Competency Standard) in order to enhance the field(on-site) suitability of university curriculum. Based on the review of literature and the interviews of policy makers, experts and professors, this study recommends the ways of promoting the use of NCS-based curriculum at the universities. First, the utilization of the NCS for the university curriculum should be to complement the existing curriculum rather than to replace it. To alleviate the psychological and financial burdens of universities, the active participation of the industry is also essential in the whole process of developing and applying the NCS at the universities. In addition, the active involvement and supports of the government are required in terms of conducting pilot-development and pilot-application of NCS-based curriculum, providing the incentives or linking the utilization of NCS with the government"s various funding-projects for the universities.
