The purpose of this study can be stated in three ways ; First, it is intended to investigate the level of moral judgement of Korean high school students and to test the significant mean differences in moral judgement levels between male and female students. Second purpose of this study intended to measure the correlation between moral judgement and Intelligence of Korean high school students. Third, it is intended to measure the correlation between moral judgement and Personality Traits of them.
The Subject (N=195) selected from high school in Seoul city were 95 male students and 100 female students, grade 1, by random sampling method.
The instruments used for the data collection in this study are three kinds of test: KEDI's 'Iiving Iss-ues Questionnaire' which is the transformation of DIT based on the theory and method of J.Rest, 'Intelligence test' and 'Personality Traits test'. All these instrument were administered by the researcher and teachers trained by the researcher from Nov. 12 to Nov.13, 1986.
The major findings of this study were as follows.
1.There is a significant mean difference in 'P scores' between male and female students of Korean high school students. The moral judgement level of female students is somewhat higher than that of male students. (by 't' -test, p< .05)
2.Viewed from the correlation between Moral judgement and Intellgence, no correlation is pre-sented. (r=.07, p= .18)
3.Viewed from the correlation between Moral judgement and Personality traits, no correlation is shown . ('Activity' r=.-12, 'Emotional Stability' r=.00, 'Dominance' r=-.07, 'Reflectness' r=-.12, 'Ma- sculinity' r=-.18, 'Sociability 'r= .01, 'Autonomy' r=-.03, 'Achievement' r=-.05)
