북한이탈주민들의 직업인성에 대한 고찰-인문교육의 필요성 제언- = A study on the vocational character of North Korean refugees, A proposal of the need to humanities education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재 우리나라에 들어온 북한이탈주민의 수는 약 3만 명에 가깝다. 이 글은 북한이탈주민들이 남한에 들어와 직업교육을 받고 직업생활을 하면서 형성되는 직업의식을 고찰해 보고, 남한에서 보다 안정적인 직업생활을 하기 위한 방안을 고찰해 보기 위한 것이다. 북한이탈주민들은 북한에서의 삶뿐만 아니라 북한을 탈출하여 남한에 들어오는 과정에서 많은 고통과 마음의 상처를 갖게 되며, 그러한 마음의 상처는 남한에 정착하여 직업생활을 하는 과정에서 많은 영향을 준다. 또한 그들은 남한에서의 직업생활에서 차별적 대우, 의사 소통의 어려움 등 다양한 요인으로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있다. 그런데 그들이 남한에서 받는 직업교육은 주로 직업생활을 위한 기능적 측면에 치우쳐 있어서 마음의 상처를 치유하는 데에는 한계가 있다. 최근 영국 등 서구 국가들은 개인의 직업경쟁력을 향상시키기 위해서는 기능위주의 직업교육과 더불어 인문교육이 필요함을 강조하고 있다. 그런 의미에서 북한이탈주민들이 남한에 정착하여 살면서 그들의 상처를 치유함과 동시에 보다 긍정적인 측면의 직업 경쟁력을 갖추게 하기 위해서는 인문교육이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, The number of North Korean refugees amount to 30000. This thesis inquires into the vocational consciousness of North Korean refugees, and prepare a stable vocational life of them. They undergo much sufferings and have illness in their mind in the process of exodus from North Korea to South Korea. Especially, the illness in their mind have a bad effect on resettlement and vocational life in South Korea. And They are hard put to it through discrimination and communication in South Korea. But vocational training that they receive in South Korea has limitations for a biased on the functional aspect. Consequently, the vocational training program have a limitation for the healing of them. Recently, the European countries including the United Kingdom emphasize the humanities curriculum with the vocational training for the vocational competitiveness of the individual. In those sense, the humanities curriculum is need for the healing of illness of the mind and vocational competitiveness for the North Korean refugees.
