The effect of cold reduction on the deep drawability( r-value), and texture formation of Al-killed and Ti-stabilized steels has been investigated. Increasing the cold reduction increased the {111} recrystallization texture and decreased the {100}, {110}, but varying amount was difference remarkedly between the steels. The lower r-value and the higher △r-value in Al-killed steel to be influenced by the minor {100}<011> component was caculated the minimum shear strain energy based on the model of modified Taylor theory.
