The main objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between chemical structure and higher heating value of reformed diesel fuels by ultrasonic irradiation.<br/>
In order 10 analyze the chemical changes of molecular structure of the reformed diesel fuels by ultrasonic irrdiation, ¹H-NMR was used and bomb calorimeter was used to analyze the the effect of higher heating values of the ultrasonic energy added diesel fuels to compare with thai of the conventional diesel fuel. The results showed thai the aromatic carbon percentages and higher heating values of the reformed diesel fuels by ultrasonic irradiation increased more than that of the conventional diesel fuel, but the Aromatics percentages and branch indices of those reduced more than that.
