여대생과 어머니의 부모됨 동기 및 부모역할에 관한 세대간 상관연구 = Correlation study on the Motivation of becoming parent and Parent``s role of Women`s college student and their mothers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 여대생이 인식하고 있는 부모됨의 인식, 동기 및 역할정도를 확인하고 더불어 그들의 어머니가 지각하고 있는 부모됨의 인식, 동기 및 역할정도를 확인한 후 상관성을 확인하고자 실시되었다. 본 연구의 대상자는 인천시 K여자대학의 재학 중인 여대생과 그의 어머니 각 220명이었으며 2005년 12월부터 2006년 2월까지, 설문조사를 통하여 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 10.1 프로그램을 활용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 여대생의 결혼계획은 결혼을 하겠다가 78.2%로 높았으며 자녀출산을 하겠다 역시 76.6%로 높았다. 이들 어머니 역시 모두 하는 것이 좋다와 자녀의 뜻에 따르는 것이 좋다 라고 응답한 경우가 94.4%였으며 자녀를 가질 필요가 있다고 응답한 경우가 76.6%로 여대생과 같았으며 자녀출산은 자녀의 뜻에 따르는 것이 좋다고 응답한 경우는 98%로 높은 비율을 보였다. 또한 부모의 의미는 여대생의 경우 인생의 모델이자 지도자라고 응답한 경우가 가장 많았으며 절대적 후원자, 낳아주신 분의 순이었다. 이에 비해 어머니는 낳아주신 분이 가장 많았으며 인생의 모델이자 지도자, 보호양육제공자 순이었다. 자녀양육의 책임소재를 묻는 질문에서는 여대생과 어머니 모두 부부공동이라고 응답하였으며 가족구성원 중 가능한 사람이라고 응답한 경우도 10% 이상을 차지하고 있었다. 2) 여대생의 부모됨 동기 및 부모역할 정도는 평균 44.5점(범위 26~64)과 56.9점(범위 44~70점)으로 높은 평균을 보였다. 이에 비해 그들 어머니의 부모됨 동기 및 부모역할 정도는 47.4점(범위 26~63)과 57.2점(범위 44~70) 으로 더 높은 평균을 보였다. 3) 여대생과 어머니의 부모됨 동기 및 부모역할 점수의 상관관계를 확인한 결과, 여대생과 어머니의 부모됨 동기에는 중등도의 상관성이 있었으며, 여대생의 부모역할점수와 어머니의 부모역할 점수 역시 중등도의 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 통계적으로 유의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose: This study examined the recognition of becoming parent women`s collage students and their mothers, and tried to reveal correlation between them. Method: The subject of study was 220 women`s collage students of K Women University in Incheon and their mothers. I had collected data from December, 2005 to February, 2006 and the method was questionnaire. Result: 1) 78.2% women`s collage students responded they have marriage plans and 76.6% students responded they will have children. Likewise, 94.4% of mothers answered they want their daughters get married and will follow their daughters` mind and very high percentage of 98% answered they think having children is essential and they will follow their daughters` mind. 2) Motivation of becoming parents and parent`s role of female collage students showed point 44.5 and point 56.9. Meanwhile, in the same category, mother showed higher average of point 47.4 and point 57.2. 3) As examining the relevance of the point of becoming parents and parent`s role between students and mothers, there was a medium level of relevance and it was statistically significant. Conclusion: These result indicate that the motivation of being parent and parent`s role of women`s college student within their mother are positive relationship.
