특수체육 비전공 대학생들의 특수체육 수업 참여 경험 이해 = Understanding of Experience of Taking Adapted Physical Education by University Student with Non-major in Adapted Physical Education

This study was to investigate experience on adapted physical education class by college students with non major in adapted physical education, who participated in adapted physical education class as an optional curriculum. Twenty three university students major in special education, physical education, sport and leisure in this study. In-depth interview, full- participation and field note, and documents were major sources for collecting data. Spradley’s(1980) DSR analysis method was used to analyze data including domain analysis and taxonomic analysis in this study. The results were as follows; to take class for one's future, to occur questions due to the lacking of information related to adapted physical education, to be inefficient class with lacking equipments, to effort the completion of credits, and to get new experience and to change their attitude.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 대학의 선택 교과목으로 개설된 특수체육 관련 수업을 수강한 특수체육 비전공 대학생들의 특수체육 강좌 수강 경험을 이해하여 특수체육 관련 수업 개선에 필요한 기초 자료 제공에 그 목적이 있다. 수도권의 K대학교, H대학교, I대학교와 충청권의 S대학교 등 4개 대학교의 특수교육과, 체육학과, 사회체육학과에 재학 중인 23명의 예비 특수교사 및 예비 체육지도자들이 연구참여자로 참여하였다. 자료수집을 위하여 연구참여자의 참여 관찰, 심층 면담, 문서수집 등을 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 Spradley(1980)의 DRS(Development Research Sequence) 분석방법을 사용하였으나 영역분석과 분류분석만 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과 수업을 수강한 이유는 미래에 자신의 직업과 관련된 분야에서 장애인(학생)을 대하는 경우를 대비하기 위한 ‘대비’와 새로운 학문을 접하기 위한 학문적인‘탐구’로 나타났다. 연구참여자들의 경험은 교과목 정보에 대한‘혼란’, 수업 관련 용기구의‘부족’ 그리고 새로운 학문을 공부하기 위한 ‘부담’ 등의 부정적인 경험과, 새로운 스포츠 세계의 ‘발견’과 보다 특수학교 체육수업의 중요성, 일반인과 장애인의 체육활동이 서로 다르지 않다는 ‘전환’등 긍정적인 경험으로 나타났다. 즉 연구참여자들은 특수체육 수업에 대한 교과목 정보의 부족, 부족한 수업 교구 그리고 적은 학점 이수에 필요한 많은 노력 등의 부정적인 경험을 하였으나 특수체육 수업을 통하여 새로운 경험과 인식 전환의 기회 등 긍정적인 경험도 나타났다.
