Arthropods occurring on abandoned chicken carcasses were investigated in different decomposition stages (fresh, bloated, active decay, advanced decay and remains stage), abandoned sites (forest hill, open field, stream bank, and green house), seasons (spring, summer, fall and winter) and methods (buried or not). This research was focused on non-insect arthropoda including Chelicerata, Myriapoda and Crustacea. Most arthropoda were mainly collected after the advanced decay stage (presence of exposed bones) among 5 decomposition stages. However spiders were collected from the fresh stage of winter season from abandoned chicken carcass in the greenhouse. Isopoda were collected from the fresh stage to the remains stage of winter season in the greenhouse but from the advanced decay to the remains stage of spring season in the forest hill and summer season in the open field. Most of Chilopoda and Diplopoda were temporarily collected in the remains stage of carcasses.
