학교산림복지서비스에 대한 서울 · 경인 지역 중 · 고등학교 교사의 인식 및 요구 분석|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 서울 · 경인 지역 중 · 고등학교 교사들의 학교산림복지서비스에 대한 인식과 요구 등을 파악함으로써 청소년들의 전인적 발달과 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 학교산림복지서비스의 기초자료를 마련하는 데 있다. 연구 방법은 혼합연구설계방법(mixed method)을 통해 학교산림복지서비스 필요성과 구성요소의 중요도, 기대효과 등에 대한 인식, 현재 학교산림복지서비스의 현황 및 요구, 학교산림복지서비스 활성화를 위해 필요한 사항 등의 설문 문항을 도출하여 서울 · 경인 지역 중 · 고등학교 현직 교사 245명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 진행하였다. 연구 결과는 학교산림복지서비스에 대한 필요성에 대해 전반적으로 높게 평가하였고, 우울감 · 스트레스 감소 등 정신건강에 긍정적일 것이란 기대가 가장 높게 나타났다. 학교산림복지서비스 구성요소 중에서는 도시숲, 공원 등 지역 산림의 적극적 활용을 가장 중요하게 인식하였다. 현재 중 · 고등학교 학교산림복지서비스 현황을 파악한 결과는 산림복지환경은 중 정도, 산림복지프로그램은 하 정도의 수준이었고 산림복지환경에 비해 산림복지프로그램이 활성화되어 있지 못함을 파악할 수 있었다. 요구수준은 모두 높게 나타났는데 특히 산림복지프로그램 중 산림치유에 대한 요구가 가장 높음을 확인하였다. 학교산림복지서비스가 활성화되기 위해서는 학교 내 녹지공간 조성, 정책 및 예산, 학교 교육과 연계한 산림복지프로그램, 학교장과 교사의 필요 인식과 의지 그리고 산림치유지도사나 숲해설가 등 산림복지전문가의 지원 등이 필요하다는 응답이 많았다. 본 연구에서는 교사를 대상으로 분석하였지만 향후 학생, 학부모 등 다양한 주체들의 의견을 수렴하고 정부 · 학계 · 민간단체 등의 긴밀한 협조를 통해 우리의 청소년들이 행복하고 건강하게 성장하는데 밑거름이 되는 학교산림복지서비스가 실천되길 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to prepare basic statistics on school forest welfare services, which is designed for middle and high school youth to grow as a whole person and to improve their quality of life, by identifying teachers’ perceptions and needs for the services in middle and high schools in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggido. An online survey was conducted among 245 incumbent middle and high school teachers in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggido, through the mixed method based on questions about the services such as how they evaluate the necessity; how they value the importance of each component; which effects they expect; what current status is like; what demands they have; and what they think is required to vitalize the services. The results of the analysis showed that the needs for the services were generally high and the effect for mental health, such as the reduction of depression and stress, was most expected. Among the components of the services, local resources such as urban forest and parks were valued the most. While teachers evaluated conditions for the services to be medium level, current programs were evaluated to be low level; it was found that the programs were underdeveloped considering its conditions. The level of demand was all high, especially the demand for forest therapy was found to be the highest. In order for the service to be vitalized, many respondents said creating green zone in school area, policies and budgets for the service, forest welfare programs linked to regular curriculum, awareness and will of school principals and teachers, and support by experts such as forest healing instructors and forest interpreters were required. Although this study was limited to teachers, further studies to gather opinions from other stakeholders such as students, parents and policy makers and close cooperation among governments, academia, and civil society organizations will make school forest welfare services help our youth grow happy and healthy.
