This study reviewed the possibility of setting a remodeling base model through the review of the error between the building energy simulation and the energy consumption of actual building. Through monthly method simulation, final energy was calculated for one public building and one house, and baseload energy was calculated using bill data. By comparing the sum of the simulation results and the baseload energy with the monthly energy consumption, it was confirmed whether the error range suggested by the M&V guidelines was satisfied. This study tried to cost-effectively secure usable data as a remodeling base model. Through the analysis cases in this study, it was confirmed that the base model before remodeling can be estimated only with the monthly method simulation results and monthly bill data.
