This study is a basic study of developing the programs of Korean language education of the deaf schools. The purpose of this study is to analyze the content and status of their Korean language education, the teachers' demands about the curriculum and the direction of the study for developing the programs.
In order to know how the Korean language education takes place in those schools and how effectively they carry out its curriculum, we analyze the research questionaires of teachers of the 4th, 5th and 6thgrades deaf elementary school and korean education department in middle and high school in the whole country for 108 teachers of eighteen deaf school.
The results of this study are as follows:
First, the supply of the subdivided curriculum that suit the reality of the deaf school was needed.
Second, it was revealed that those teachers hoped that the development and the supply of the material for listening and speaking of the elementary school for the deaf and for reading and writing middle and high school for the deaf had to be done by the government of the country.
Base on the results of this study it has to distribute the learning materials to the respective schools by the government of the country.
