장애영·유아 진전 점검의 개념과 실행 방안 고찰 = A Study on the Concept and Implementation Methods of Monitoring the Progress of Infants and Preschoolers with Disabilities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지난 10년 동안 유아특수교육 분야에서 많은 관심의 대상이 되어 온 장애영·유아 사정과 관련하여 특히 우리 나라에 관련 문헌이 부족한 장애영·유아의 진전 점검에 관한 국외 문헌 연구들을 분석한 후, 장애영·유아 진전 점검의 개념과 목적, 기본 지침 및 절차와 방법 등 장애영·유아 진전 점검에 관한 기본 지식을 제시함으로써 유아특수교육기관의 교사들이 교육 현장에서 장애영·유아의 진전을 적절하게 점검하고, 진전 점검의 결과를 현재 제공되고 있거나 향후 제공될 교육 서비스에 적절하게 반영할 수 있도록 하며, 이를 통해 우리 나라 유아특수교육의 질과 효율성을 향상시키는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한, 본 연구는 우리 나라 유아특수교육의 질과 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 앞으로 이루어져야 할 장애영·유아의 진전 점검과 관련된 정책 및 연구 과제들을 제시하였다.

For last 10 years, the assessment practices of infants and preschoolers with disabilities have been the focus of much concern because assessment plays a pivotal role throughout the early childhood special education. However, in Korea there has been not enough literature on assessment, especially monitoring the progress of infants and preschoolers with disabilities. Therefore, this study was designed to provide basic knowledge about monitoring the progress of infants and preschoolers with disabilities including the concept, purposes, basic guidelines, procedures and methods of monitoring the progress, based on the results of reviewing foreign related-literature so as to improve the quality and efficiency of early childhood special education in Korea. In addition, the study suggested future policy issues and research tasks with respect to monitoring the progress of infants and preschoolers with disabilities.
