The detection of tool wear in cutting process is very important because tool wear have an effect on safety of machine structure, cost and precision of workpiece. During cutting one of the indirected tool wear detection technique is used to develop methode to detect the tool wear conditions. The cutting force signals varied with the cutting condition and tool wear are analyzed by FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) and Time-series. In-process detection of tool wear can be possible by observing the amplitudes of a specific components of cutting force in frequency domain.
