경제학의 기본개념을 통한 경제교육 방안 = An Effective Economic Education through Basic and Threshold Economic Concept

Economics is considered one of the most difficult in the middle and high school and thus avoided by students. To mitigate the problem, economic educators have tried many ways. All the problems in economic education can be said to result in what to teach and how to teach. These two ideas are closely related so that they are not able to separated from each other. In many cases, various basic concepts in economics are proposed to be taught in the precollege level. Recently, threshold concept is introduced in many disciplines. One way to overcome economic education problem is to find threshold concepts in economics and persistently teach these In the economics textbooks of high school, we have offered many economic concepts but haven`t tried what are basic and threshold concepts although there have been several curriculum revisions. We need to find basic and threshold concepts in economics and offer these in proper contexts for effective economic education.
