문체(文體)의 연구(硏究) -화용적(話用的) 분석(分析)을 중심(中心)으로- = The study of "style shift" -the viewpoint of pragmatics-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 문체연구가 이전의 이분법적 분류인 ``경어체ㆍ보통체``에 한하지 않고 일본어의 구어에 나타나는 다양한 문체를 대상으로 새로운 분석 기준을 제시하여 통사적ㆍ화용적 측면에서 문체를 고찰하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 대화분석의 기본단위인 발화순서에 의해 문체를 분류하고 문체의 특징에 따라 유형 분류를 시도한 점과 문체변화의 원인을 분석하기 위하여 여러 가지 화용적 요소 등을 적용한 점에서 다른 연구와 상이점을 갖는다. 먼저 통사적 측면에서는 문체변화 유형을 기존의 연구에서와는 달리 동일한 경어체에서 경어체로의 변화인 경우라도 정중함에 있어서 차이를 보이는 경어체계 속에서 나타나는 문체변화인 경우는 각각의 문체로 인정하여 별도의 독립적인 항목으로서 분류를 시도하였고 분석결과, 문체 유형의 특징에 따라 ``주저형``, ``명사형``, ``생략형``, ``인용형``으로 분류할 수 있었다. 한편 화용적 분석결과, 문체변화가 ``배려, 간접성, 부담 등``의 발화의도를 나타내기 위해 사용되는 언어조작이라는 점과 넓은 의미에서 문체변화는 공손 표현의 하나로서 원활한 의사소통의 위해 사용된다는 점을 살펴볼 수 있었던 연구로서 의미를 가진다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study has a significance in that it analyzed Japanese spoken language by targeting the diverse style not the formal style-normal style and presented a new analysis criteria. Also this study analyzed syntactic style in the syntactic, pragmatic aspects. It sorted the diverse style according to turn which is a basis of conversation analysis and attempted to classify the types based on characteristics of the style. This analysis is different from preceding studies in that it applied pragmatic factors in order to analyze the cause of stylistic changes. As a result of analysis, stylistic change analysis could be classified as ``hedge``, ``noun form``, ``quotation``, and ``ellipsis``. And this analysis showed that stylistic change is a language manipulation which is used to express speaker``s intentions ``kindness, indirectness, and burden etc``. Lastly this study also showed that in a broad sense stylistic change is a kind of politeness strategy used to communicate the want.
