표준화 정책 = Standardization Policy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

신경제 산업 또는 혁신적 산업에서 표준화란 호환성의 설정을 의미하며, 네트워크 외부성이 존재하는 경우에 특히 표준화 정책의 전략적 중요성이 크다. 본 논문은 최근에 신경제에서 회자되는 표준화와 표준화정책에 관한 개념과 이론적 및 실증적 연구들을 비판적으로 검토 및 소개함으로써 표준화와 관련된 정책 이슈들과 정책 수단들을 논의하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In innovative or new economy industries , standardization typically signifies achieving interoperability and is an important business and government strategy, especially in the presence of network externalities. This paper discusses basic concepts in the standardization literature and critically reviews theoretical and empirical studies of standardization and standardization policy. Throughout this discussion and review, the paper highlights standardization policy as a new area of public policy in the new economy and suggests related policy issues and policy instruments. The paper also discusses future research issues and policy implications.
