In the process of adapting to the Built Environment, sometimes Human Behavior patterns appear contrary to the architect's original intentions. Traditionally, architects receive little feedback about buildings, except from the satisfied or dissatisfied client.
Because actural users often differ from clients, evaluation by the users is important for better design.
This article studies Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE), a type of Environment-Behavior performs ; to determine possible misfits, mistakes, or omissions; to comprehend the needs of the residents of the apartment housing; and to accumulate information for future programming and design efforts through establishing a model on the Post Occupancy Evaluation for the Apartment Housing
And by suggesting this model for applying results of the evaluation research into design, the possibility of interdisciplinary study between research and design is to be proposed in the field of Research Utilization.
