국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고에서는 인류의 보고이자 사람과 세상에 대한 통찰로 가득한 문학ㆍ역사ㆍ철학을 중심으로 지구시민사회 건설의 초석을 놓기 위해 ‘인간다운 삶이란 무엇인가?’라는 문제의 식이 함의된 「서옥설(鼠獄設)」과 여러 자료를 활용하여 인문학적 담론을 도출하고, 지구 시민사회의 개념과 그 건설 방안을 면밀히 파악하고자 한다.
주요하게 「서옥설(鼠獄設)」에서는 사회악의 근절이라는 현실문제를 타개하는 과정에서 나타난 문제의식의 한계, 부와 인간다운 삶이 수반되는 풍요와 화려함이 삶의 질에 직결 되지 못한 채 과시나 선망의 대상으로 표현되어 부에 대한 사회적 성찰이 결여된 사회현실, 의사소통의 부족과 연대감의 상설로 초래된 비인간적인 행태와 사회의 분열 등을 살펴본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As one of the ways to lay the foundation for global civil society which is firmly based on the insights drawn from various disciplines such as literature, history, and philosophy, this paper attempts to clarify the concept of 'global civil society' and also to search for the paths which may lead to the construction of global civil society by establishing discourses which take root in the study of the humanities through close examination of several materials with 'Seo-ok-seol' as the main focus of analysis.
In bref, 'Seo-ok-seol' deals with issues embedded in the efforts to eradicate the social ill, social distortion of ideas regarding wealth, and social division caused by the absence of both the communication and sense of solidarity among members in a given society.
