부모 사회경제적 특성에 따른 육아지원서비스 이용 및 소요비용 차이에 관한 연구 = A study on effectiveness of socio-economic status of parents to the use and expenditure of ECEC

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analysis the differences among socio-econemic status in the use of various child care and education services and cost payed for these services. For the analysis, raw materials of 2004 national household survey on child rearing was partly used. The analysis found that enrollment and cost of child care and education services are relatively high among higher income brackets. Household income brackets could explained 15% of the cost payed by the parents in ECEC. Among low income groups the cost is low, but rate to household income is high relatively, which indicated the necessity of child care and education subsidies for low income groups.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

2004년도 전국 보육.교육 이용 및 욕구 실태조사 자료를 이용하여 부모의 사회경제적 특성이 영유아의 육아지원 서비스 이용 및 비용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 보육시설은 저소득층이 선호하고 유치원과 사교육은 상대적으로 소득계층이 높을수록 이용률이 높고 부담하는 비용도 많았다. 사교육과 개인양육지원서비스 이용은 모두 소득분위가 높을수록 이용률도 높았다. 육아지원서비스 비용에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 소득으로 설명력은 15% 정도이다. 이외 모취업, 도시거주, 학력 변수가 개인 단위에서 유의한 영향을 주는 변수이고, 가구단위로 보면 영유아수와 모취업이 비용 수준에 영향을 주는 주요 변수이다.
